ThriveMore is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization committed to providing a high quality of life for residents at each of our communities. Formerly known as Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina, we rebranded in 2022 as ThriveMore to reflect the opportunities for growth and life enrichment at our communities. We don't view our communities as places to simply retire. Rather, we've created communities where older adults feel welcomed, respected, supported and fulfilled.
"We prayed as we searched for a place to spend the rest of our lives. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Brookridge offered opportunities that met our physical, spiritual, emotional, and fellowship needs. Our home is maintenance-free, giving us more time to enjoy what we love. It was also financially affordable. Our children were impressed with the community. After almost four years, we have never regretted our decision.”
A Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offers peace of mind for you and your family. If your health needs change in the years ahead, you'll have priority access to a continuum of care on-site, typically including assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.
We operate four communities throughout North Carolina, including locations in Albemarle, Arden, Concord and Winston-Salem. A fifth community, Brice Pointe, is under development in New Bern.
Thanks to our generous donors, the Baptist Retirement Homes Foundation provides financial assistance for residents in need through the Benevolent Care fund. Qualified residents will always have a home at ThriveMore communities.
